Professor Phil Jones, Center Of Climategate Scandal, Wanted To Commit Suicide After Scandal Broke

Jones, the Director of the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia, said he thought about killing himself "several times" after hackers cast doubts over his research. Here's what he told The Daily Mail:

I am just a scientist. I have no training in PR or dealing with crises

Jones had been encouraged to kill himself by critics after the incident.
