"Hard Look" Will Be Pretty Easy

Obama won't break a nail as he takes his "hard look" at the inequalities women via the new  White House Council on Women and Girls. That's because the composition of the group appears to exclude any conservative women's organizations. The audience at the unveiling ostensibly included "national women's organizations and community groups, professional women, and a bipartisan group of congressional leaders." But the three leading conservative women's organizations,  the Claire Booth Luce Policy Institute, Concerned Women for America, and the Independent Women's Forum, were not invited. There's no need to wonder where the emphasis will be when it comes time to "improve women’s health care," one of the stated objectives of the group.
