Trump Reacts to Tuesday's Democratic Debate

President Trump said the economy would tank if any of the Democratic “clowns” running for president won and argued that after watching the debate, it’s no wonder they’re pursuing impeachment.

"You would think there is NO WAY that any of the Democrat Candidates that we witnessed last night could possibly become President of the United States," he tweeted. "Now you see why they have no choice but to push a totally illegal & absurd Impeachment of one of the most successful Presidents!"

Trump also said the economy would crash on Great Depression-type levels if one of them were to be elected.

"Our record Economy would CRASH, just like in 1929, if any of those clowns became President!" he said.

Democratic candidates pushed for Medicare for All throughout the debate with some acknowledging that taxes would go up.

"At the end of the day, the overwhelming majority of people will save money on their health care bills," Sanders said. "But I do think it is appropriate to acknowledge that taxes will go up. They're going to go up significantly for the wealthy. And for virtually everybody, the tax increase they pay will be substantially less -- substantially less than what they were paying for premiums and out-of-pocket expansions."

Warren, for her part, said taxes would go up for the wealthy and corporations but insisted it would not for the middle class. None of her Democratic counterparts were buying that argument, and called her out for her evasiveness.
