What Time Do Polls Close in Utah?

Polls in Utah close at 6pm for Democrats and 7pm Mountain time for Republicans (8pm/9pm Eastern time). Utah is also offering online voting for Republicans for the first time. Online voting ends at 11pm Mountain time.

Utah is a closed caucus state. There are 40 delegates, awarded proportionally to GOP candidates winning more than 15 percent. Any candidate who wins a majority of voters gets all the delegates. There are 33 delegates, awarded proportionally, up for grabs in the Democrat primary.
