PSA: Please Don't Talk About the Republican Primary at Christmas Dinner

CNN Republican Debate moderator and Salem Radio Host Hugh Hewitt made somewhat of an odd quip last night when he described this as the "Christmas dinner debate" that people will be discussing in 10 days at their Christmas dinners.

Please, for the love of all things holy, do not bring up this debate or anything political at your Christmas dinner.

Christmas, the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, is not a day to debate politics and should never be. I know for many families, mine included, Christmas is one of the few days of the year where everyone is together. Don't spoil it by potentially bringing up controversial topics. If WWI could have a Christmas truce, you too can go one day without bringing up politics.
