Voters don't seem to have the same affinity for sweater vests as they did in 2012, apparently.
Santorum, who announced his presidential campaign at the end of May, has only raised $607,000 since then, and only has $232,000 on hand as of the end of June. To put it bluntly: this isn't good.

Santorum, a social conservative who won the Iowa caucuses in 2012, who is currently polling just outside the top 10 candidates, making it uncertain whether or not he will be on stage during the first GOP debate in Cleveland on Aug. 6.
He announced his candidacy May 27, giving his campaign a little more than a month to raise funds before the June 30 deadline. He pulled an average of about $17,360 per day.
Conversely, Jeb Bush raised $11.4 million in the two-week period between his announcement and the filing deadline.
Santorum is not currently polling in the top 10 for GOP candidates.
Clearly Americans aren't willing to give the 2012 runner-up a second go, and they're talking with their wallets. Santorum was a social conservative darling in 2012, but he's being out-fundraised by just about everyone this election cycle.
The GOP is certainly packed for 2016, with a candidate for just about every kind of Republican voter. When will the long-shots (and I'm not just talking Santorum) start to drop out and thin the field?
