ISIS Issues Assassination Threats to Twitter Employees Over Propaganda Account Shut Downs

Members of the Islamic State have called for the beheadings of Twitter employees after a crackdown on ISIS propaganda accounts. A Twitter account on Monday was used by someone associated with ISIS to calls for the killing of employees in San Francisco, the location of the company's headquarters. It has since been shutdown. More from SFGate:

“The time has arrived to respond to Twitter’s management by directly attacking their employees and physically assassinating them,” one tweet read.

“Every Twitter employee in San Francisco in the United States should bear in mind and watch over himself because on his doorstep there might be a lone wolf assassin waiting,” read another.

All of the tweets were accompanied by a hashtag that translated to “the concept of lone wolf attacks.”

At this point, ISIS has beheaded American journalists, had issued direct challenges to the United States and has issued dead threats to American citizens. Despite these threats and efforts by the U.S. to bomb ISIS in Iraq, the State Department still denies America is at war with the terror army.
