US Under Highest Level of Threat...Ever

In case you missed it over the weekend, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes warned on CBS's Face The Nation that the United States is facing the biggest threat in the history of the country, stemming from a number of different regions around the world.

"We face the highest threat level we have ever faced in this country, today," Nunes said. "Even after 9/11."

It's important to highlight that this statement is coming from the intelligence committee, whose members see an enormous amount of information that the media, general public and even other members of Congress do not.

During the interview, Nunes cited Yemen as a major source of concern for terrorism, a country the White House touted as a success just last fall. Earlier this year, the U.S. Embassy in Yemen was evacuated and rebels took over the capitol city. On the way out, U.S. Marines were reportedly told to leave their weapons behind. Nune stressed that main threat comes from fighters who have trained in Iraq and Syria and then traveled to western countries in Europe and to the United States.

Meanwhile, the White House non-strategy against the terror army is failing.
