Washington (CNN) -- A detention hearing is scheduled Friday for Farooque Ahmed, who is accused of attempting to help men he believed to be militants plot bombings at subway systems in the Washington-area.

Some of the allegations against Ahmed were detailed in a search warrant and other documents released Thursday.

The warrant included a sworn statement by an FBI agent who said Ahmed and "an associate" visited several Metrorail stations to record video he later handed over to undercover agents he thought were al Qaeda members.
