Today President Obama will face the press for the 14th time in his presidency in a solo mid-morning news conference.

With just weeks to go until the August 2 deadline to raise the debt ceiling, the president is expected to face questions about the ongoing deficit negotiations, in particular whether he will accept a deal with Republicans that doesn’t include a tax increase on the wealthy.

The press, which hasn’t faced off with the president since March, will also likely press him on why he believes the War Powers Act shouldn’t apply to his intervention in Libya.
