Alaska Senate hopefuls jockey for edge in campaign's last days

If you requested an absentee ballot, Sen. Lisa Murkowski's campaign has been in touch. If you're one of 60,000 members of the AFL-CIO Alaska, your mailbox is stuffed with union mailers reminding you that Democrat Scott McAdams is one of your own.

And if you're a Republican who voted in the primary election, Joe Miller is counting on your vote.

As the 2010 campaign season enters its final days, all three campaigns are looking for an edge in what is not only the most expensive Alaska race of the year, but one of the most watched in the nation.
