Rahm Emanuel concedes that Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart's decision not to run for mayor of Chicago will have an impact on the race, but he's not going to spend too much time analyzing it.

"I think I'm going to do what I'm supposed to do, which is continue this conversation I've had with the voters," he said Wednesday afternoon.

"The dynamics, obviously when somebody with Tom Dart's quality and capacity gets out, that has an impact," he said. "I'm going to leave that interpretation to others."
