Blame House Republicans for keeping us in the dark on Benghazi.
When CBS news anchor Scott Pelley conducted the 2013 Super Bowl Sunday interview with President Obama it was as obvious as it is today that the President, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other Obama Administration officials had lied and continued to lie to try to hide the truth about Benghazi.
On the day before Thanksgiving this news was posted at a blog on the website of the Department of Health and Human Services: The President of the United States had just made a change in the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” better known as ObamaCare.
Remember when then-Texas Governor George W. Bush was running for president and a Boston local television gotcha journalist hit him with a surprise quiz asking him in rapid succession to name the leaders of Chechnya, Taiwan, India and Pakistan?
For Republicans, winning enough races next year to take control of the Senate and expand their current majority in the House is suddenly oh so easy.
Little of anything that the Obama Administration has said or done regarding Benghazi makes sense.
It’s always interesting to notice what the mainstream media emphasizes when reporting on a speech delivered by Barack Obama – and always even more interesting to notice what they choose not to bother questioning.
They’ll merit three cheers only if they wake up and see the obvious and take the next logical step: force Boehner to quit aiding and abetting the Obama Administration’s Benghazi cover-up operations by his single-handedly blocking action on a proposal that more than two-thirds the House Republicans strongly support that is so clearly in the best interest of the country.
