The Gitmo Five's Burn Notice

Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

"Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."

That's a line from the movie "The Dark Knight." Maybe it's because I'm just a comic-book-loving fool, but that's the first thing that popped into my mind when I read the Gitmo Five's statement.

"We are terrorists to the bone," the Guantanamo detainees proclaimed. Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11, and his four comrades consider the charges that they slaughtered nearly 3,000 Americans to be "badges of honor, which we carry with pride."

In a six-page document released by a military judge, the men swear that America will fall like "the towers on the blessed 9/11 day."

Back to "Dark Knight." In that movie, The Joker -- brilliantly played by the late Heath Ledger -- isn't interested in mere criminality. In an ingenious scene, he pours gasoline on an enormous pile of cash and sets it ablaze. Why? Because he doesn't need money. The things he needs -- guns, dynamite, gunpowder -- he can get cheaply enough. The Joker wants to send the message that he's not just a criminal, that "everything burns."

In November 2000, when America was still enjoying the last days of the tech boom and was still confidently treating terrorists like bank robbers and counterfeiters -- i.e. run-of-the-mill criminals with all the rights and lawyers and rules and talk that entails -- Louis Pepe, a prison guard at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, was doing his job. He was watching Mamdouh Mahmud Salim, a top lieutenant for Osama bin Laden, held on charges that he was one of the conspirators behind the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Africa.

Salim wasn't just a criminal. He sharpened a plastic comb into a stabbing fang and shoved it into Pepe's eye and 3 inches into his brain. An elite member of the MCC Enforcers Disturbance Control unit, the 300-pound Pepe was nonetheless overwhelmed. Salim and his partners beat Pepe to death, or at least they thought they did. Using his own blood, they painted a Christian cross on his torso -- a message less subtle than The Joker's.

Brain-damaged and nearly crippled with injuries, Pepe and his story received little attention because, in those pre-9/11 days, he wasn't a casualty of war, he was merely a victim of criminals.

Of course, we have bad men in prison who aren't terrorists and who are just as evil, just as unredeemable, just as willing to take pride in the suffering and fear they dole out.

But for these men, it isn't an ideology. It isn't a war. It isn't a sacred cause.

The Guantanamo Five aren't gangsters, and they aren't criminals. Criminals usually kill people to get cash. Terrorists get money so they can kill people. Criminals do evil to get pleasure. Terrorists eschew worldly pleasure to do evil. Bank robbers may strap bombs to themselves, but they do it to terrorize tellers into handing over the money. Terrorists skip that part and go straight to blowing themselves up.

Al-Qaida isn't full of cartoonish nihilists like The Joker. They don't want to see the world burn; they want to see the world in a burka. But burning the world is preferable to not getting their way.

"We shall continue the Jihad no matter how long the way, until the last breath and the last beat of the pulse -- or until we see the Islamic state established," proclaimed Abdullah Azzam, one of the spiritual founders of al-Qaida.

No doubt Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul shares that sentiment. He was an inmate at Guantanamo until he was released to Afghanistan in 2007. Now he's overseeing Taliban operations against U.S. forces in southern Afghanistan, where violence is on the rise.

Though he didn't ask Louis Pepe's opinion, President Obama has concluded that the criminal justice system can handle terrorists just fine.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler is the chairman of the House Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Subcommittee. The hole where the World Trade Center used to be is in his district. Yet he says that people like Mohammed Atta, who led the 9/11 attack, should be treated like any other criminals. Vice President Biden has offered exact percentages of Taliban members who can be negotiated with or bought off. Obama is closing Guantanamo Bay, and the White House is looking for prisons, including on American soil, to hold the Gitmo Five and others like them.

We'll see how that works out.

These
characters [Islamic thugs] are trying to prove that we can't live with them.
Why not concede that they are right and just wipe them out ?

"Jes' kill 'em....
...kill 'em all!"

Cabinet Appointee

"Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul Now overseeing Taliban operations against U.S. forces in southern Afghanistan..."

Sounds like the ideal candidate for obambi's Secretary of Homeland Defense.

Liberal appeasement
Come on, what did you expect? Elect a socialist numpty, get surrender to mainstream Wahhabi Islam. This isn't new with Obama. Clinton surrendered in the face of mainstream Islam and even sent US troops to defend murderous gangs of Muslims in Bosnia against their Serb and Croat victims and in the process helped mainstream Muslims from around the world fashion themselves into Al Qaeda in the crucible of their grim guerilla war against civilisation.

monkeyfish

My newest favorite word..."Numpty".
Permission to use it ad nauseam when referring to obambi, his administration, and libtards in general.

Also, GREAT POINT about Bosnia. We definitely backed the wrong horse in that conflict....but you never hear word one about that from the drive-bys.

Corndog
Glad to be of service - I don't know the origins and the only other person I know who uses it is my mother, but it carries the meaning of an ignoramus with delusions of adequacy and rather suits B Hussein Obama

The Gitmo 5
The lib-tards condemn Bush for holding them for so long. Who was it that kept throwing legal challenges at the government, thus delaying the prosecutions?
The lib-tards insist that Gitmo radicalized the terrorists. If they were peace-loving arabs (an oxymoron, if there ever WAS one!) why were they on the battlefield?
The lib-tards claim they should be treated as mere criminals and given Constitutional rights. Oh THAT'S worked REAL good! Clinton followed that policy and it resulted in 9-11! It's an AMERICAN Constitution! Are these mutts Americans? (If so, they're guilty of TREASON! Punishable by death!)
The lib-tards condemn America for Geneva Convention violations & torture at Gitmo. Firstly, it's consistant with the Conventions that these mutts COULD have been summarily executed, rather than imprisoned! Secondly, the ~torture~ at Gitmo has resulted in these mutts gaining an average of 20 pounds. They are provided better food than our front line troops and have every amenity that federal (AMERICAN) prisoners have and more! (TVs, lawyers, recreational time & facilities, etc)
I can only deduce the lib-tards who make these false accusations must suffer from the twin mental defects of BDS and liberalism!
But you have to admit, the Kenyan Usurper DID keep his promise (from his auto-biography) that he would always side with his fellow moo-slims! (Notice also who got his first interview, as president. Look who's getting $931,000,000 to re-arm against Israel and ANOTHER $20,000,000 to infiltrate our country, during such hard financial times! How can we, the tax-payers, afford this???) WTG, O'Dumbo, the Magical Halfrican! Our first unconstitutional president!

Where are the defenders?
The left's awfully slow on the draw this morning.

We'll see how that works out.
He has promised to unite the country.
WSHTWO

He has promised affordable housing for those who can't afford it;
WSHTWO

He has promised an honest transparent government, free from corruption, lobbyist influence and earmarks.
WSHTWO

He has promised fiscal responsibilty.
WSHTWO

He has promised efficient government, with elimination of programs that don't work, and reform of programs that are not doing the job.
WSHTWO.

He has promised to make the US more safe and secure.
WSHTWO

He has promised energy independence, jobs, reversal of climate change, improved education, an elevation of science, reduction of the deficit, and best of all FAIRNESS

Good luck Dumbo. We'll see how that works out.

Kerry

You're not alone in your frustration brother.
Take solace in knowing that the Kenyan in Chief is a "Numpty". : )

If these men aren't criminals?
Is Timothy McViegh? Or the unibomber? Or, what about Hess and Goering? Goldberg has childish views.

My dream

The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11
by Lawrence Wright

"The way to deal with Bin Ladin, if he were caught: try him before "Sharia courts". Take him to Kenya and Tanzania and make him confront the 150 Muslims who he blinded by the 1998 bomb blasts. Take him around and try him by sharia law. Take him to Saudi Arabia and ask for his execution. Make him look like he violated his own standards. Don't kill him, because then you make him a martyr."

Jonah
These people should be put to death. They will never stop. The criminals that murder, and terrorise thier victims, should be put to death. This idea that we can redeam them is just a lib sickness.
Kirk

Kirk
Who said they should be "reformed"? I actually don't see a problem with capital punishment for convicted criminals. We did, however, kill 8 with torture, and noone knows if they were guilty at all. The low point for US presidential policy.

Taft
you tow the liberal line nicely. There is an assumption here that the vast majority held in Gitmo are peace loving Muslims who have been wrongly held against their will by the an Evil America. The VAST majority of the people in Gitmo are EVIL MEN who believe that it is better that the world burn rather than live in a world with the infidel. But your man is in the White House. Congratulations. YOu helped make America less safe. What sucks is that Al Qaeda will now start to regroup and just when the American people will have realized that Obama was a worse choice than Carter, Al Qaeda will again be ready and will attack. Mark my words!

We are not fighting a snake. You cut off a snakes head and it dies. This is a hydra. You cut off its head and two more grow. You have to crush the body of the hydra to kill it. But keep thinking these terrorists are mere criminals. We are playing rigth into their hands.

Public execution
These worthless human beings should be crucified publicly and via satellite around the world. We'll make martyrs out of them all right. They need to be humiliated and mocked as much as humanly possible for the world to see.

BARACK HUSSEIN ALLENDE
Barack Hussein Obama rode on the back of the antiwar movement into presidential history. No toppling of Saddam Hussein, no President B. Hussein Obama. The man with the middle name “Hussein” opposed regime change in Iraq and the forceful ousting by U.S. forces of the murdering dictator believing that he could have been be stopped, tamed and contained-a completely wrongheaded notion as the man's terrorist activities were uncontainable and dangerously growing. But I wonder, is it mere happenstance that Obama shares the same name as the ill starred dictator, the name "Hussein?" Is his own middle name a warning to Obama about the fate he could suffer if he goes too far in his transformational project to Europeanize and collectivize capitalist America?

When I think about both men I notice that they share one very troubling trait between them: for like Saddam Hussein B. Hussein Obama is a madman, a man for whom no catastrophe is too big or disaster too great to bring him to reason and stop him.

Click my name and read the rest of The Man With Hussein for his Middle Name, or Barack Hussein Allende

execution just isn't for punishment
Executing criminals for punishment is folly. After death their pain is over.

However, execution under some circumstances can serve as a deterrent. To make it effective in this manner the method has to be brutal and memorable.

Al-Qaida understands this. That's the reason they publicly (via video) execute their enemies.

Though, I'm loft to sink to their level, executing all of the remaining Gitmo detainees in a very public method could serve the same purpose for the U.S. We'd be flogged in the court of public opinion. But it might cause some of those considering joining Al-Qaida to re-think their decision. To do this, they would have to believe, not that they'd die for their acts, but that their deaths would accomplish nothing for their cause.

Deckard
WHen you say most are guilty, are you talking about now, or when there where over 800 there? If so, why did Bush let them out? No one told him to. The facts, however, point to the realization that many of the Gitmo prisoners where not guilty. In any event, in a war setting, mistakes happen, fine, but no one gave Bush the right to torture them, or deny them basic rights under the Geneva Convention which the Supreme Court said applied.

Obama is not making America less safe and has the support of Gates and Petraeus.

War vs. Crime
Jonah - Once again, you are right on the mark! The "Hate America First" crowd, like the liberal poster, Taft, on this board, can continue their Bush-hating mantra, and use as much "bait-and-switch" as they like. The bottom line is that if you can't tell the difference between simple crime and a war, you will lose the war.

Anyone
that attacks an American citizen, not wearing the uniform of their country are NOT worthy of
the Geneva Conventions..the liberal girlymen
wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes in an earlier and saner day if they brought this mindset to our colonial and later citizens. They knew the difference between good and evil and acted accordingly, now because liberals/progressive/marxists say there is no God but me, we have this confusion and lack of
appreciation for the sacrifice of our military.
There are 17 DEAD sailors at the hands of these
religious goons, and O slaps them in the face by letting the ringleader go..O is the face of
the liberal/progressive cowards that so hate the military they cannot bring themselves to
treat them honorably..instead they congratulate their murderers by letting them go.
Liberal/progressives are so in love with their
presume nonviolence they don't have the guts to
defend their own children..they have opened the door to more 9-11's..because they are too chicken to defend their own but demand that MY
kids and grandkids defend them. I'm the mom of
three Navy vets and one active duty grandson
and I resent the fact that my kids sacrificed
years to so their duty so they lily livered
nincompoops can carp on oooh oooh it's just not
faaayah to keep those poor souls in Gitmo..it's crewel and unjust..let them go back to their mommies and we will all sing Kumbayah before they leave. liberal cowards are beneath contempt, a bunch of sanctimonius prigs with their fearless, chain smokin' (howzzat you purists, your leader chain smokes and we all know that's a worse crime than flying planes into buildings killing 3000 people.) coward in chief leading them

Rev 3:9, 10 prophecy of Islam
Obama was raised in a muslim country...Does anyone really think he doesn't fully understand the serial killer instincts of Muslims/Islam????Even a moron could understand this..
I understood Islam was just an excuse to kill and steal and rape when I was 8 years old..and that was a long time before 9-11..
I also understand that the only way satan could claim to be god and convince masses is to claim he is the GOD OF ABRAHAM..
What we are dealing with is absolutely of satan and Obama is part of it..

What about putting them in the gen. pop?
If they are actually dumb enough to move them to Huntsville, I can’t imagine there won’t be at least one prisoner with either nothing to lose or nothing better to do that will have a bedspring handy. Criminals know their own kind. Mr. Goldburge is right. Whether or not they are in isolation or not, there is bound to be at least a few prisoners smart enough to know that these guys aren’t just trying to ‘stick it to the man’. They don’t care – they are vicious animals who do not distinguish rank among their enemies. They betray and kill even their own kin with no regard to purpose except their own. They are cowards – but dangerous cowards nonetheless; dangerous to anyone and everyone.

Americanus
I think you'd change your tune if you know that the Gitmo debacle has harmed our efforts in fighting terrorism and gotten American soldiers killed in the field, at least I hope so.

When the CIA interrogates new caught insurgents, they would often here that they came to kill because of Gitmo, and when other civilized countries caught suspected AQ leaders they have decided to not give the to the US because it is agaisnt international law to torture people.

The evidence is also plain that the information they got from torture was often wrong and led to many very terrible strategic decisions. Wake up sir and learn that the noecons care not a bit for America!

Where to relocate the terrorists?
I have a very logical solution as to where the terrorists should be relocated. The security is probably the best in the country, the living quarters would certainly tell the WORLD we don't torture or mistreat the terrorist who breed hatred at every turn.
Mr.Obama, just have them move into the White House in the bedroom next to you, your wife and daughters. IF you would do that, then I truly believe you would really think closing GITMO was a grand idea instead of a payback to the trial lawyers that support you and the democrats in Congress.

Mr. Obmama, actions speak louder than words and I find your words EMPTY.

Taft

You are a numpty.
Go away and annoy people on another website.

Taft.
Lib Problem #1 you all have created a "he hate me" attitude that all the other countries in the world hold the US in lower regards. Liberal apologists the lot of you truly believe that its up to the US to make nice with the world.
Boy...since 1-20....the world absolutely is in love with us!!!! Obama was elevated by Muslims to be a house negro....progress at last!!!!!

And my how Obama is a statesman!!! "Here Gordon..here's some artwork I made from my cigarette butts, gum wrappers and spray on glitter"..."and here is this wooden head too...you can have it back....or I will just use it as kindling for the fire we burn at our wednesday evening parties....."

Our stock is truly rising, huh?

Lib Problem #2 you adopt the enemy of my enemy is my friend approach whereby, you love the fact that Ill, Chavez, Castro, Ahmanidenidoofus have all publicly ridiculed the US....
Bad news for the US is good news for the moonbats....fail in Iraq....bad economy....that is until now that the 'one' is in office........

What the US should remind the world is that "hell yes, we interrogated these terrorists because we WILL NOT have another 9/11. No methods are off the table."

Taft....you do remember 9/11 don't you?? Or do you need a refresher.........

Also.....what does international law say about the right of a country to defend itself......against terrorists with no uniforms who hunt and kill soldiers and civilians alike..

Disclaimer:
The above commentary represents 5 minutes of my life that I will never get back trying to make a point to a liberal.

Gitmo Five
I always knew this is what would happen if ever we elected a hippie president. If we had a real president, he'd tell the chairman of the joint chiefs to make sure those five disappeared and were never heard from again. I don't think anyone but a few liberals would care or even ask about it.

Numpty
(noun) An ignoramus with delusions of adequacy.

I love it.

It wasn't in my unabridged so I wrote it in.

Taft,,,bass- ackwards
Fist of all, generals Gates and Petraeus say they support Obama because he is their boss. A good soldier always supports his CIC. That does not mean they agree with him.
Other countries are not afraid to to turn over captured terrorists to us in Cuba. They are more afraid that we would turn them over to a country that would REALLY torture them, rather give them a day at the beach, which is what Gitmo is.

Douglas
Actually the UK is refusing to hand over some suspect.

Granite Eagle

I was hoping one could count on love of country to side against the bevy of Goldberg lies and childish prattle. They even tried Hess and Goring. Becoming barbarians isn't going to make us one iota safer. There is a wonderful new book out that is a must read. The NY city police hired 600 muslims to help them keep NY safe, the cause celebre of the terrorist agenda, and they acknowledge how good police work gets the job done, not torture and throwing our our constitution.

I love this country and will fight the lies as fast as the Goldbergs want to pump them out.

Brilliant definition!!!

Old Wine In New Bottles
In a filing today with the federal District Court for the District of Columbia, the Department of Justice submitted a new standard for the government’s authority to hold detainees at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility. The definition does not rely on the President’s authority as Commander-in-Chief independent of Congress’s specific authorization. It draws on the international laws of war to inform the statutory authority conferred by Congress. It provides that individuals who supported al Qaeda or the Taliban are detainable only if the support was substantial. And it does not employ the phrase “enemy combatant.”…

Rich Lowry’s disection of Obama’s standard M.O.: Denounce one of Bush’s policies, pretend to reverse it, then adopt it more or less as is. Sounds like the plan here. Exit question: Is this a signal that The One plans to keep Gitmo open longer than expected? If he’s serious about shutting it down soon, there’s really no need to placate the “international community” with gestures like this. Just close it. If anything, this smells like a sly way to justify continued detention going forward. “Don’t blame me — I’m just following the law Congress and international treaties gave me.”

The lefty Center for Constitutional Rights rolls its eyes. Lowry 1, Obama 0:
“While the new government has abandoned the term ‘Enemy Combatant,’ it appears on first reading that whatever they call those they claim the right to detain, they have adopted almost the same standard the Bush administration used to detain people without charge – with one change, the addition of the word ‘substantially’ before the word ‘supported.’ This is really a case of old wine in new bottles.

Taft -- a response
" They even tried Hess and Goring. "

AFTER THE WAR WAS WON.

See: Mussolini.

New Boss Same As Old Boss
The Obama Administration, taking its first position in a federal court on claims of torture of Guantanamo Bay detainees, urged the D.C. Circuit Court on Thursday to reject a lawsuit by four Britons formerly held there. In addition, the new filing argued that a recent appeals court ruling makes clear that “aliens held at Guantanamo do not have due process rights.”

http://www.redstate.com/jeff_emanuel/2009/03/13/obamadminst ration-gitmo-detainees-do-not-have-due-process-rights/

Let's see:

No constitutional rights to detainees at Bagram AFB.

No constitutional rights to former detainees at GITMO.

GITMO still operating.

Obama has ordered the DOJ to DEFEND John Yoo, who worked for the Bush Ad. and was accused by KSM and Jose Padilla of authorizing their “torture”.

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

BTW: According to Rasmussen and Democratic pollster, Obama's approval rating is lower than GWB's at this time in his 2nd term.

Stand them up against a wall
It's practically a Cuban tradition!

It's pretty clear to me...
... that winning this war will take more than soldiers. In fact, it will be fairly safe to say that this war won't be just a soldier's war anymore before long.

Winning this war will ultimately require the support of every able-bodied American who can walk and carry a weapon. Armed civilians will be backing up the troops.

And in the vanguard of this fight must be a corps of totally dedicated hunters and slayers of terrorists, like the dragonslayers and giant-killers of ancient folklore. These elite must be part knight, part samurai, and all warrior... stalking and killing the foe and his sympathizers and enablers wherever they are found.

Only if we reorganize the fight to bring down Islamism in this fashion will we have a chance of winning.

Who will stand with me?

"Wild Bill"
"Who will stand with me?"

Can gun-toting, heel-wearing, chicks apply? I'm ready!

GTMO inmates
What would Thomas Jefferson say/do? I'm quite sure he say to try them in a court of law, and, if convicted, carry out the sentence.

This nonsense of locking people up and torturing them for years is degrading our country before God and the world, and makes a mockery of our Constitution and laws.

Remember, the Bill of Rights is not just for citizens, it's for all people/persons in the United States and areas under control of the United States. (Read it.)

Here is Jefferson would say !

"The care of human life and not its destruction is the first and only legitimate object of good government."

Thomas Jefferson (1743 - 1826)

On the other hand, our enemies doing CARE about innocent human life or there would not have been a 9/11. I say to h&LL with what the world thinks. They are not the ones who will have to clean up the mess, after the mushroom cloud appears over a major American city.

I AM, HOW ABOUT YOU?

Kill Terrorists, Not Babes
Terrorists have to be treated like the mad dogs they are--shot on sight. There is no other way to expunge this evil that has destroyed so many lives. The Arabs themselves have taught us how to treat these fanatics--kill them all.

I keep returning to a similar situation in the WWII Pacific where Japanese soldiers refused to surrender and sought an honorable death and the Marines accommodated them.

Islamic fanatics seek death but are willing to surrender, unlike the Japanese soldiers, with the hope of wreaking more havoc before they are stopped. It's just one small step from killing innocent babies in the womb to executing our adult enemies. But it makes more sense if we want to survive and save (what an idea?) many adult lives.

The difference is that Islamic terrorists are evil and unborn babes are as pure as, well, newborn babies.

Reply to Denise in LA...
All who would see an end to this wickedness are welcome to join.

You MIGHT have to reserve the "heels" for undercover missions, though. Combat boots would be more the norm... if you're up to wearing them.

I mean, which would be better for stomping on a terrorist's foot, or tripping him up, or kicking him in the stomach or ribs?

On the other hand, the heels might be good for a distraction while you prepare to give that good-for-nothing a couple of hard punches to the face...

Well, heels OR boots... use your good judgement before you put them on. Like, "What will I be using my feet for today?"

You get the idea.

where shall the terrorist be placed ?

I suggest they be permitted to live with the kennedy family, the kerry family, the pelosi family, the reid family and the leaders of the aclu.
This would save us money and perhaps enlighten the above that these killers are just that. However, it is the Constitution duty of the above to feed, cloth and wash them and take no aggressive action against them no matter what they do.
Good luck boys and girls.

where shall the terrorist be placed ?
O could give them the Lincoln Bedroom.

That could solve a couple of problems.

Bigoted garbage
What about the Japanese in World War II? They bombed Pearl Harbor. Some of our captured troops were tortured by them.

The USA back then could have made the same bigoted argument back then, that it was impossible to negotiate with ANY Japanese, that they would all fight to the death (like Iwo), so we needed to exterminate their whole country.

Thankfully cool heads won and bigotry lost. Our war was with the government of Japan and those who wanted to fight us, not with every Japanese citizen on earth. We killed those in war who we had to, then made peace with the rest.

Now we face the same decision with the Muslims. On 9/11 a few hijackers crashed planes into buildings. Do we do what bin Laden asked us to, and fight a war of Christians vs. Muslims? Based on paranoia? (Japan also had a plan to take over the world.)

What is a numpty?
Scotland's favourite word, according to a poll by BT Openreach, is numpty. Derived from "numps", an obsolete word for a stupid person, rather than the more obvious numbnuts or numbskull, the term implies general idiocy, often in my experience accompanied by windbaggery. Which explains why you will most often find it used in connection with members of the Scottish Parliament.

But numpty is a multi-purpose word, with great flexibility - my husband, for example, calls me "numpty-noo", an affectionate variation (I hope). With its plosive "p", it is a word capable of withstanding being hurled across football terraces - "Heid tha ball, ya useless nuuuuumpties!" - or gently remonstrating with a small child -"I know you didn't mean tae forget your gym kit, Hamish, but you'll look a right numpty in your vest and pants and nae mistake."

WU WEI

I guess you forgot what was the persuasive discussion which made the Japanese decide to surrender.

Recall Nagasaki and Hiroshima? The Japanese Imperalist chose to surrender after the nuclear bomb dipomacy. Cooler heads did prevail after that.

Yes, we Christians and Americans of all religions will fight Muslins when they threaten our country, our homes and our families.
