Jen Psaki Spills the Truth About What's Really Going On Behind-the-Scenes With Trump's Cabinet Picks

AP Photo/Evan Vucci

Former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki openly acknowledged the efforts by both Republicans and Democrats to block the confirmation of President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks they consider “dangerous” for the country.

Psaki admitted that if there’s enough pressure put on Trump’s nominees by the media and fellow politicians who want to block the incoming president’s picks.

“They already took Matt Gaetz,” Psaki said. The former Florida Senator removed his name from consideration for Trump’s attorney general because of past allegations of sexual misconduct.

Critics are now targeting former Fox News reporter Pete Hegseth, who is being considered for Trump’s subsequent defense of the secretary. Psaki then admitted that once Hegseth is out of the picture, Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will face their wrath.

“If they’re successful, they will come for Tulsi, RFK Jr., etc,” Psaki said.

Critics claim Gabbard is a Russian “asset,” while they declared Kennedy to be an anti-vaxxer and healthcare conspiracy theorist.

Last week, I covered a similar topic: GOP lawmakers oppose many of Trump’s cabinet picks. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) expressed concerns that Republicans may quietly undermine Trump’s agenda despite publicly claiming to support it.
