As President Joe Biden’s open border policies continue to wreak havoc on the United States, Republican-led governors are sending illegal migrants to the doorsteps of their rival party, giving them a taste of their own medicine.
Democrat leaders of “sanctuary cities” once welcomed illegal aliens into the country with open arms. However, now that the problem is affecting their state, they are suddenly sounding the alarm about the southern border crisis and illegals coming to their cities.
For instance, New York City Mayor Eric Adams freaked out this week over the Big Apple seeing the number of illegal aliens flood the city and take advantage of its resources.
Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin highlighted the hypocrisy of Democrats who once condemned Republicans for wanting the border closed.
“NYC Mayor says city will be “destroyed. Chicago is begging for federal help. M.A. is activating the National Guard. L.A. is threatening to sue Gov. Abbott,” Melugin tweeted. “All while the White House claims their policies are ‘stopping the flow,’ despite the fact that their own numbers show that is false. Wait until CBP releases the August numbers. They are going to be the highest of 2023.”

In August, illegal crossings increased from the previous month, surpassing 177,000. Roughly 91,000 migrants crossed the border as families as well.
At one time, all of these Democrat-run cities called Republicans “racist” and “xenophobic” for advocating to keep illegal aliens out of the U.S. Now, they are pleading for help from the federal government as the problem threatens their city.
