Watch This GOP Congressional Candidate's Wholesome Ad in Support of President Trump

Crumpacker for Congress

GOP Congressional candidate Jimmy Crumpacker released an ad in solidarity with President Trump, in the middle of the Wuhan coronavirus epidemic facing the nation.

A seventh-generation Oregonian, Crumpacker is running in the Republican primary to replace current incumbent Greg Walden (R,OR-02), who announced his retirement. Crumpacker, like President Trump, is a political outsider and businessman. Since President Trump's upset victory in 2016, an increasing number of non-career politicians are seeking office; these candidates can relate to real Americans outside of Washington, D.C.

Walden won the seat comfortably in 2018, with 56 percent of the vote. FiveThirtyEight still categorizes the seat as a solid GOP hold; President Trump carried the second congressional district in 2016. The primary for Oregon’s second congressional district is set to take place on May 19.
