I'll go ahead and give Carney the benefit of the doubt here: perhaps, in his mind, he really doesn't deliberately, consciously, technically tell lies, and it's true that it's his job to peddle a lot of incomplete information that he can't totally divulge for various reasons. But, even apart from all that... he sure as hell ain't no honest Abe, either (read: Republicans "forced" Obama to deny the Keystone permit). Sigh -- lies, spin, deception, demagoguery... there all such fine lines, aren't they?
