Landrieu, Menendez Beclown Themselves in Tax Debate - UPDATE: Moran, Too

A short while ago, "moderate" Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana joined her colleagues' pseudo-filibuster of the controversial White House-GOP tax compromise.  At one point in her blab-fest, Landrieu made the following declaration:

"I have not yet decided how I'm going to vote...but I am going to vote loudly."

Deep thoughts, Senator.  Thanks for sharing.  In other news, the terrorists have won, apparently:

U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez said today he will vote for the tax package that many of his Democratic colleagues are deriding because it provides relief for the middle class and the unemployed.

You may recall Menendez's thoughts on negotiating with the GOP just one week ago:

UPDATE:  The always classy Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) adds his four-letter two cents:

“This is a lack of leadership on the part of Obama,” fumed Moran (D-Va.) “I don’t know where the f*** Obama is on this or anything else. They’re AWOL.”

F-bombs certainly are flying today.  Lesson: Even if one sends him back to Chicago, one really can't entirely cleanse the Beltway of Rahm Emanuel.
