Barack's Glass House Politics

So Barack Obama is running an ad to try to link John McCain with Ralph Reed -- whom they call a "Republican power broker" -- as a way to suggest that McCain was somehow implicated (by osmosis, I guess) in the Jack Abramoff scandal.  The McCain campaign denies any connection to Reid.

"Glass house" maneuvers like this continue to call the quality of Barack's campaigning into question.  After all, isn't this a little like bringing up McCain's housing gaffe when you're a guy who's got a friend like Tony Rezko?

Because while we're on the subject of "questionable associations" -- well, let's just put it this way:  Neither Reed nor McCain say they have any links.  But even if they had, keep in mind that Reed never was a domestic terrorist, like Barack's friend Bill Ayres, as the linked ad from American Issues Project points out.
