Hats off to Feministing.com -- usually a reliable source for liberal feminist mouth-breathing, it makes note of the problems with using climate change as an excuse for greater distribution of contraceptives.
Using fears about climate change as a way to expand contraceptive use is eerily reminiscent of "population control" policies, some of which were coercive and all of which were rooted in the idea that certain people should be having fewer babies...
