I Don't Know This Guy
Hear me out.
"I will cut taxes for 95 percent of all working families," he promised. (I still haven't seen the plan for how he'll do that with $150 billion into green tech, even more into health care and education for all, but let's put that aside for now). He told us he would increase our energy supply through nuclear facilities. More standards and accountability in education. That he would CUT GOVERNMENT SPENDING. (I'm not holding my breath for him to start naming programs) and "take out" Osama bin Laden.
“Each of us has the freedom to make of our own lives what we will,” he said.
Where has this guy been? That's not the Barack Obama I know, whose voting record earned him the #1 most liberal ranking in the Senate.
Most telling is what Obama DIDN'T tell us when the world's eyes were watching tonight. He didn't mention his plans to steal profits from our wealth producing sectors, force everyone to the same, one-size fits all national health care plan, squelch free speech and his eagerness to negotiate with hostile nations without "precondition." He didn’t talk about his support of infanticide, gay adoption or willingness start teaching our children about sex in kindergarten, either. And he certainly didn't tell us about any substantial executive experience he has.
Nope, is was all about family, freedom, fiscal responsibility and hard work.
Like I said, I don't know this guy.
Update: Btw, is anyone else getting a lot of echo on their TV for this speech? Peggy Noonan predicted problems earlier today because the venue was too big, maybe she was right.
