The more I think about it, it’s really not important that Rev. Wright or Bill Ayers are mentioned tonight.  It’s not important, because …

… It’s not like Obama sat in his pew for twenty years.



… It’s not like, as president, Obama would be in charge of winning the war on terror.



… It’s not like Obama’s children were baptized by Wright  -- or that Obama titled his book after a Wright sermon.



… It’s not like character or judgment matters when you’re president.
