Chair of Judiciary Committee Defends Constitutional Merits of Obamacare

The very same representative who once famously asked "What good is reading the [health care] bill?" is now defending the measure against claims that Obamacare is unconstitutional.  With his infinite wisdom, Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, defended the constitutional merits of Obamacare on the grounds of the "good and welfare clause" and "a couple others."

Hmmm... I'm not familiar with the "good and welfare" clause.  But Rep. Conyers assures us it's legit because "scholars" he knows say so:
