In addition to Medicare, Medicaid, Cash for Clunkers and Social Security, another example of an inefficient government run enterprise we can add to the long list of reasons why we do not want the government running our health care is the United States Postal Service. The Postal Service is expected to post $7 billion in losses this fiscal year (equivalent to the budget deficits of Minnesota and Ohio), and there is talk about combining services and offices to reduce costs. However, changes will not take place until after Sept. 30.
