Americans Think Iran Has Halted Warhead Construction. Israelis Don't.

The two countries, along with a few European nations, are maintaining a false public show of solidarity while actually being very conflicted about whether Iran is continuing to develop nuclear warheads, according to reports. Unsurprisingly, Israel has the most cautionary, defensive stance. Rolf Mowatt-Larssen, former head of intelligence at the Department of Energy and a C.I.A. nuclear expert, had this to say about the discrepancy:

It’s often tradecraft that gets us bollixed up...It comes down to interpreting the same data in different ways, in looking at the same information and coming up with different conclusions.
