Key Pro-Life Policies Pass House

The House of Representatives voted today to pass the No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act, which does exactly what it sounds. According to the Susan B. Anthony List the bill codifies the Hyde Amendment and other pro-life riders that restrict federal funding to abortion.  The House also curbed tax breaks for insurance policies that include abortion or write-offs for abortion procedure on individual income except in the case of rape, incest, or life of the mother (though why a baby deserves to die any more in those cases seems like a question that should have been considered).

Your move, U.S. Senate.
