Dollar A Day For Teens Who Don't Get Pregnant

A program launched by a nonprofit out of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is paying 12-18 year old girls to not get pregnant. College-Bound Sisters was founded by Hazel Brown, a maternity nurse who saw too many teenage girls getting pregnant. So she gives them $7 a week to stay pregnancy-free, not drop out of high school, and enroll in college. Participants are required to attend a weekly meeting, as well.

Graduates of the program have made over $2000. Nearly 100% of the girls have successfully completed the program and graduated from college.
