Sen. Kerry looked a little tense and skeptical during this part of the speech. I wonder if it was just the Fox feed that showed Kerry in conjunction with the "isolation" passage:
"There is no peace in retreat and there is no honor in retreat.""We would signal to all that we no longer believe in our own ideals or even our own courage."
"The United States will not retreat from the world and we will never surrender to evil."
"America rejects the false comfort of isolationism."
Ouch.
"There is a difference between responsible criticism that aims for success and defeatism that refuses to see anything but failure. Hindsight is not wisdom and second-guessing is not a strategy."
