Jeb Bush beautifully articulates the argument Republicans should be making this election season: The overtaxed, overregulated economy favored by statists is imperiling the "right to rise" -- which has long been a widely understood freedom secured to Americans by the operation of dynamic capitalism.
Statists can't provide anyone with a better life. They can only guarantee "equality" that actually means there will be less for the productive, and social leveling where everyone has the same amount . . . just less.
