NY Terror Attack On Synagogue, Military Planes Thwarted

Four African American ex-prisoners — all converts to Islam — were charged with conspiring to attack Stewart Air Force Base and the Riverdale Jewish Center, both in New York. The FBI busted the wanna-be terrorists while they were moving to attack the synagogue.

The FBI had been working with an informant for several months on the case, even supplying fake weapons to the suspects, who may have been motivated to plan the attacks because of anger over the war in Afghanistan.

Their arraignment is planned for Thursday in White Plains.
