Steny Hoyer Says I'm Lying

Rep. Steny Hoyer, (D-MD) thinks I'm a big fib.

Talking to reporters yesterday, he said that the media coverage of the town hall event he hald last week unfairly focused on the "10 to 15 percent" of participants who were anti-Obamacare, and just there to "get on TV."

In case anyone has forgotten, I was at that town hall. There was way, way more constituents who were anti-Obamacare than pro-Obamacare. These conservative activists weren't hard to find. They dominated the cheering section. Heck, I talked to a lot of them.

They would've been there if there had been no media coverage whatsoever. They certainly didn't comprise "ten to fifteen percent" of the crowd; in my estimation, they were way over fifty.

To witness Rep. Hoyer wantonly write off such a large body of vocal participants isn't just watching him get the facts wrong, and isn't even something that makes me insulted. It makes me seriously question his state of mind. What kind of political bravado or suspension of reality does it take to distort facts this badly?
