Mayors and Rabbis and Organs, Oh My!

Corruption stories like this would be better than soap operas... if they weren't actually true.
There's corruption, and then there's corruption, Jersey-style. A money-laundering probe resulted in 30 arrests, including the mayors of two major cities (Secaucus and Hoboken, where this kind of thing has happened before), the city council president and deputy mayor of another, and a few rabbis. There are also some reports of cash payments for organs—that is, organs like kidneys, not like Bach. This has the chance to crack my top five favourite municipal corruption scandals, but it will be a hard climb: I used to live in Rhode Island.
