Birds of a Feather?

Rod Dreher writes persuasively about the troubling questions raised about Barack in light of the associations he has kept and cultivated over the years.  The profound radicalism of his erstwhile pastor is highlighted in Stanley Kurtz's piece detailing the contents of Jeremiah Wright's "Trumpet" magazine.

It can't be repeated often enough: If voters repudiate Barack Obama after learning of these associations, it has nothing to do with race.  America is ready, willing, even eager to vote for an African-American (remember the much-touted "Obamacans"?)  But Americans aren't willing to vote for a radical -- of any color.

That isn't racism.  That's common sense.
