Former Vice President Dick Cheney is set to release his autobiography at the end of the month, and he's promised it will stir up Washington.
“There are gonna be heads exploding all over Washington,’’ Cheney told NBC’s Jamie Gangel in an exclusive interview that will air on NBC’s “Dateline” at 10 p.m. ET Aug. 29.
MSNBC reported from this interview that Cheney kept a secret resignation letter in a safe, in case he was incapacitated, since "there is no mechanism for getting rid of a vice president who can’t function."
