Things You Never Hear Protesters Say ...

Liberals have made much out of John McCain's "100 years" remark.   But as Jonathan Martin reports, McCain made a very good point today about the subject of military presence:
"The question of Iraq is not presence, my friends,” he said, noting that American troops have remained for years in some countries following conflicts of the last century. The question, he said, is whether we are taking casualties in those countries.

“I’ve yet to see a demonstrator outside a town hall meeting saying ‘get out of Kuwait,'” he remarked to laughter, citing one example of a peaceful post-war occupation.
