Also, Adam Brickley reminds me that Palin actually REFUSED to wear expensive furs for a Vogue Magazine shoot (Feruary 2008 issue), and FORCED the photographers o take pictures of her in her NORMAL clothing. Alaska Magazine also profiled her in February, and they actually got a look at how the Palin family REALLY shops for clothes (Bristol Palin won parental approval for a $15 dress for a gala, but got in trouble for spending $30 on a leg waxing..."that was supposed to be gas money.") If the extravagant purchases were made, I'm guessing they were not by Palin ...
