Just last week, Speaker Pelosi killed the idea of a war tax. Today, Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) introduced another version of it, this time in the form of bonds. The "United States War Bonds Act of 2009" is modeled on the war bonds sold during WWII. It probably won't go anywhere.
