Shocker: Late Night Obama, Reid, Boehner Budget Meeting Changes Nothing

Last night President Obama met with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker of the House John Boehner with a goal of coming up with some solution to avoid a government shutdown tomorrow. Obama called the meeting "constructive," yet democrats haven't put forward a realistic deal in order to prevent a government shut down.

Reid said after the meeting, "We're not there yet." Not surprising considering democrats haven't been "there yet," for over a year and didn't pass a budget last year, resulting in a possible government shut down now. Boehner reiterated the republican stance that no one wants a shut down and as of this morning is prepared to bring another continuing resolution up for a vote later today, making it the third CR in just two months.
