Arrest Made in Baltimore Terror Plot

On the heels of a similar case in Oregon a few weeks ago, a federal sting operation in Maryland has netted another would-be jihadist:

A man has been arrested for plotting to blow up a military recruitment center near Baltimore, authorities say.

The man was caught in a sting operation and was plotting to blow up an Armed Forces recruiting station in Catonsville with what he believed to be a car bomb, the U.S. Attorney's Office for Maryland said in a statement.

Officials have not released the suspect's name, but ABC News and Fox News identify the man as Antonio Martinez, a Muslim convert who calls himself Muhammed Hussain.

"There was no actual danger to the public as the explosives were inert and the suspect had been carefully monitored by law enforcement for months," the statement said.
