And Now, An Election Message from 'The Hangover' Cast

Half-assed celebrity get-out-the-vote "activism" at its finest.  Impressively, it only took them four attempts to nail the three-sentence message:

Technically, they don't tell anyone whom to support, but they're leaning up against an Obama bus, and the clip is posted on The One's official YouTube page.  So they've left some subtle clues for all the low-propensity, default liberal, Hangover-lovin' undergrads who might be "inspired" by this sort of thing.  Think it through, guys. You'll figure it out.  I enjoyed Allahpundit's take on this spectacle:

A half-hearted GOTV pitch from members of one unimaginative, overrated production on behalf of another. If you’re the sort of smart, serious, socially conscious college-aged progressive who can’t get motivated to vote without being asked by the cast of your favorite sub-Sandler-level lowbrow comedy, here you go.

In case AP's virtual backhand didn't exhaust your daily snark quota, try this on for size:  I went to see 'The Hangover' in 2009 after several of my peers hyped it to the extreme, some arguing that it was the funniest movie ever.  It was not.  Which isn't to say it was unfunny -- it was just a slightly above average offering from the fratcom genre.  The sequel, however, was absolutely atrocious.  The shock humor of the first flick was put on steroids, resulting in a string of lazy, avert-your-eyes gross-out gags.  Seriously over-hyped the first time, then truly terrible in round two.  Remind you of anything?  Forward.  I will say that I'd much rather watch this inanity than Michael Moore's latest profane project.
