ObamaCare was unpopular as a mandate under the Commerce Clause and it is just as unpopular as a tax. A new Rasmussen Report shows that 52 percent of likely voters still want the law repealed, despite the Supreme Court ruling ObamaCare constitutional last week.
The U.S. Supreme Court declared that President Obama’s health care law is constitutional, but they were unable to make it popular.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters favor repeal of the health care law, while 39% are opposed. That’s little changed from a week ago. Indeed, support for repeal has barely budged since the law was passed.
Next week the House of Representives will vote again the repeal the law and based on this polling, Romney will continue with his promise to repeal ObamaTax on his first day should he be elected President.
