Sarah Palin is hands down the most vetted political figure in U.S. history, and now, she thinks it's President Obama's turn. She is encouraging Americans to carry on the vision of Andrew Breitbart to dig into who Barack Obama really is and to do the job the old media didn't didn't do in 2008 and won't do in 2012. From Breitbart.com:
If the media had done their job of vetting him, we wouldn’t be surprised that Obama brought these same Chicago “pay-to-play” practices to the White House.
This corruption was entirely predictable. But the mainstream media, who work under our Constitutional right of freedom of the press which our sons and daughters fight in war zones today to protect, dropped the ball and failed America by refusing to vet their chosen candidate.
So, as Breitbart declared in his last CPAC speech, we – the everyday patriotic citizens of the United States – will do the vetting the media refused to do.
This is a first step. Ultimately, Breitbart’s goal was to expose what he called the corrupt Democrat Media Complex. He wanted to break it up because he understood how the left uses its dominance of the mainstream media and pop culture to advance its objectives and marginalize its political foes.
Something to keep in mind throughout this vetting process: this isn't only about the 2012 election, it's about future elections in the United States. Barack Obama got a free pass to the White House, despite his radical associations of which shaped his political views. Those views have had a heavy impact on the way Barack Obama conducts business as President of the United States. For the future, it is important to keep in mind that electing candidates with radical influences results in radical policy decisions. Do we ever want to elect someone like Obama again? Someone with close ties to people like Jeremiah Wright, Derrick Belle, Tony Rezko and an admiration for Saul Alinsky to name a few. The answer is no.
