It's Biden!
Assuming it's true, oh, goody. So much to talk about. So many gaffes, so little time. Time for more tomorrow, but here's one of my favorite Bidenisms, just to tide you over.
Apparently, upon confirming his selection, Biden's first words to the press were, "As I have so often said, The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. What's more, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender in our efforts to win this election. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall -- and let's hit the campaign trail!"
