Nancy Pelosi: 2010 Election Not About Healthcare, About Jobs Instead

"I don't think this election was about healthcare reform. This election was about 9.8 percent unemployment and in some places it is worse. It's hard to talk about health reform when people don't have jobs."

But they did it anyway. While Pelosi, Obama and Reid were focused on ramming through one of the most unpopular pieces of legislation in history, the people were asking for jobs. But then again, Pelosi believes unemployment checks are the best way to stimulate the economy and "create" jobs.

"If we hadn't passed healthcare we would probably have lost even more seats for being ineffective."
