Voices from the NRA Annual Meeting

NRA Annual Meeting, St. Louis, MO--Earlier, we brought you a blogpost talking about how the NRA Annual Meeting offers small business N82 Tactical a great avenue for exposure. But the NRA Annual Meeting isn't just about the vendors; the attendees also have unique voices and stories to tell.

I caught up with Melissa of Fairview Heights, Ill., and her family--they have eight kids--watching a demonstration at the Blackhawk booth in the NRA exhibit hall.

Melissa said her family took the train in to attend the convention--their first. She said her husband's interest in firearms sparked the trip, and they brought the family to teach them about guns. The couple's attention to the Second Amendment and firearms actually developed through friends who shared their interest in the topic with Melissa and her husband.

She said that she would like to see concealed carry happen in Illinois, the one state that does not permit it, and that the issue is something they're interested in as votors.
