Anti-Jihadists from the Dirty Banned From YouTube Honors

From the ATL, natch. I like it, but it may be a bit too raw for Townhall, so I'll make you click over to Allah who found it:

The song's called "Open Season." Lefties will relexively read the lyrics as if they're directed at all Muslims, but he sounds pretty clear on the fact that he's referring to jihadis in particular. Of course, it might incite insensitivity or violence, they'll say. No such concerns about violent lyrics in any other rap or metal song, or violent anything as long as it encourages the assassination of President Bush.

All right, so I'm not delivering on the rap/metal anti-jihad, but I will give you Deeyah's "What Will It Be?," which includes such features as anti-jihadism, a hookah, and most importantly, much more hot Muslim chick in bikini. I give and give.

This is Deeyah. They call her the "Muslim Madonna." Given the relative bravery and sophistication of her message compared to Madonna's crap-ola, Madonna should count herself lucky to be associated.

Deeyah, of course, received death threats for this video, as I noted early this year.  Let's get the views up on YouTube, so it too can be banned from Honors!

Sample lyrics:

  • "Does the truth only come from the top of a holy man's spire?"
  • "From three paces back, covered head to toe, like the rules that the man says and written just for show."
  • "You can stand up, lay down, or follow. What will it be? Will it all be the same again tomorrow?"
  • "We don't take it lightly when you threatening women. How you have so much hate and you fake your religion?"
  • "If you're that religious and not for trendy clothes, then what you doing even watching videos?"
