The Abercrombie Guys Speak

The guys standing behind Barack during his speech in Evansville, wearing the Abercrombie & Fitch shirts, have spoken over at USA Today.

If I were part of the Obama campaign, I'd have a word with the aide who reportedly invited them to "be the backdrop" for the speech.

Surely even the hipsters in the Obama campaign know that Abercrombie & Fitch comes nowhere near reflecting mainstream American values -- whether it's the now-discontinued racy calendar depicting young people in various stages of undress, or, more recently, the "Blonde with Benefits" t-shirts being marketed to tween girls (its counterpart is "Banging Brunette").
