Conyers Has No Problem Reading Playboy, But Can't Be Bothered to Read Health Care Bill

Conyers has been caught oogling Playboy on a commercial flight from Detroit to D.C.



This is a man who groused last year that voter anger over Congressmen not bothering to read important legislation was misplaced:
“What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages, and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you’ve read it?”
As I wrote at the time, Conyers actually is a lawyer.  And now we know why he can't spare the time to read bills:  He's too busy getting his thrills reading Playboy in public.  Thanks to Republicans' 63-seat gain on November 2nd, Conyers will no longer be the House Judiciary Committee Chairman when Congress reconvenes in January.

The only defense I can possibly muster for this guy is that maybe he's a little lonely these days, now that his eminently ladylike wife is -- shall we say -- unavailable
