Rather than an activist government to deal with the nation's top problems, the public now wants government reformed and growing numbers want its power curtailed.Nearly every Republican speaker I've heard over the last six months has expressed some desire to return to a system of more limited government powers. If those Republicans put their money where their mouth is — and listen to tea party activists — America seems ready to follow them.
